Fireside Chat with Professor William Kovacic and Mark Seidman (CLC)
- January 27 | Tasher Great Room
- This event provided catering for a full meal. There were buns, salads, salmon, chicken, rice noodles, sautéed vegetables, coffee, lemonade, iced water, etc.
- Score: 23/25
- The “Fireside Chat” series have been a great go-to for attendees looking for a decent full meal. One dessert to highlight was the strawberries dipped in chocolate. It was one of the writers’ favorite. As you can see from the picture, the writer went straight to the dessert area and got a plate of sweets!

Echoes from a Troubled Past: Security Sector Reform (SSR) in Argentina (International & Comparative Law Program)
- January 28 | SCC
- This event catered sandwiches, chips, desserts, drinks, salads, etc.
- Score: 20.5/25
- It seems to the writer that you can usually rely on a decent meal in SCC. The sandwiches tasted great but there could be more variety. The desserts happened to be similar deserts served in the Fireside Chat event on Janurary 27. The writer hopes that those are not leftovers from the previous event. Other than this concern, this is a great event for a decent lunch.

Getting Jobs Outside of Big Law: Government, Public Interest, and Small Firms Panel (SBA Outreach)
- January 28 | SCC
- This event catered cheese, fruits, beverages, biscuits, grilled vegetables, brownies, cookies, etc.
- Score: 23/25
- The salty biscuits were the writer’s favorate. There were a variety of fancy cookies and brownies not often seen in other events that provide full meals. It is to the writer’s personal judgment that the lemonade tasted better than those served in Inns of Court.
